Cobra Kai Season 3 Ep. 2: Nature Vs. Nurture see Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny (William Zabka) team up to find Robbie (Tanner Buchanan). Their journey sees them visit Robbie’s Mum and Johnny’s Ex Shannon Keene (Diora Baird) in rehab and Robbie’s old running mates in prison. Zabka and Macchio’s chemistry has always been at the heart of the franchise and seeing the two of them working together is nothing short of TV gold.
Meanwhile Kreese (Martin Kove) is trying to toughen up Cobra Kai and seeks out Tory (Peyton List) who has been awol from Cobra Kai since the fight. We also get a glimpse of Kreese’s teenage years with Barrett Carnahan playing the younger Kreese.
Verdict: 9/10. An amazing episode which details how people’s actions can impact of others, and how people’s own ignorances can stop the achieving great things. The tease of Daniel and Johnny on the same page albeit for a short time hopefully hints at what is to come in the future of the series.
