Cobra Kai Season 3 Episode 3: Now You’re Gonna Pay opens with former Cobra Kai memeber Bobby (Ron Thomas) giving a sermon in church as a drunk Johnny (William Zabka) enters giving his opinion of the sermon. Bobby asks God for forgiveness and then deals with Johnny. Bobby gives Johnny a stern motivational talk and offers to help him see Robby (Tanner Buchanan) in juvi.
Meanwhile Daniel (Ralph Macchio) is fighting a different battle with his car dealership as his rival offers to buy him out and take over his contract with his Japanese distributors. Wonder where this could lead?
In the meantime the school holds a car wash trying to raise money for Miguel, Robby adjusts to life in juvi and a fellow inmate named Shawn (Okea Eme-Akwari), and Johnny tries his best to raise some cash to help Miguel including confronting his step-father.
Verdict: 8/10. Another solid episode that adds more structure to the ongoing story arch of Season 3. Everyone seems to develop a step further be it in a positive or negative light. Hawk (Jacob Bertrand) in particular is developing into a bigger douche than he was already.
