Pamela Susan Shoop is an American actress who has made a name for herself in the film and television industry. She was born on June 7th 1948, in Hollywood, California, and began her acting career in the late 1960s. Over the years, Shoop has appeared in a number of popular film and television productions, earning critical acclaim for her performances.
Shoop’s first film role was in the 1969 film Changes an she went on to appear in a number of films and television shows including The Interns, Night Gallery, The F.B.I., The Rookies, Mannix, The MOD Squad, Gemini Man, Wonder Woman, Emergency!, The Incredible Hulk, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Hawaii Five-O, Galactica 1980, Magnum, P.I. and B.J. and the Bear.
In 1981, Shoop landed the role of Nurse Karen Bailey in the popular horror film Halloween 2. In this film, she was drowned/scalding to death in a hospital’s hydrotherapy tub by killer Michael Myers (Dick Warlock).
Further roles followed in Fantasy Island, CHiPS, The Fall Guy, T.J. Hooker, Fame, Tales of the Golden Monkey, The Rousters, Masquerade, Whizz Kids, Knight Rider, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, The Highwayman, Simon and Simon, Murder She Wrote, and her final role to date as Dr. Jennifer Harmon in Kung Fu: The Legend Continues.
Whilst no longer acting Shoop does continue to attend conventions associated with films in which she appeared. She appeared in the 2006 DVD release Halloween: 25 Years of Terror. She also works with charitable groups, including Good Tidings, the National Charity League, and Achievement Rewards for College Scientists.
