Picking up directly from the end of Episode 4, Masters of the Universe: Revelation Ep. 5: The Forge at the Forest Forever reveals that Prince Adam’s sacrifice led to his admission into the Hall of Heroes in Preternia. This uniting of Adam (Chris Wood) and Teela (Sarah Michelle Gellar) etc is bittersweet as they mourn the death of a friend.
Soon our heroes have retrieved the second half of the Sword of Power from He-Ro (Phil LaMarr) and are out looking for King Grayskull (Dennis Haysbert) so that they can use Roboto’s (Justin Long) energy at the Forge to restore the Sword of Power.
Adam suddenly realises there is a chance for him to return to Eternia so seeks the council of Moss Man (Alan Oppenheimer).
When the Sword of Power is restored at the cost of Roboto’s life, Teela and her team head home with Adam to the Hall of Wisdom. As magic is being restored to Eternia, Adam is suddenly stabbed from behind by a revived Skeletor (Mark Hamill), who had been hiding within Evil-Lyn’s staff until the right moment.
Claiming the Sword of Power as his own, Skeletor summons the power of Grayskull to become master of the universe!
Verdict: 9/10. Eternian folklore at its finest. He-Ro finally makes it on screen as well as King Grayskull! Plus, the ending that nobody saw coming! They are playing the long game on this one, so I hope people give it the time it deserves. Not everything needs to be wrapped up in 20 minutes! A great first half of the season!
