You see many years ago the Corvin Clan (aka the Neo Vampires) confined their opponents, The Dracula Clan, underground, and the only way they can be savied, according to a prophecy, is by a child born nine seconds past 9:09 on September 9th, 1999. It is prophesised that this child will possess infinite power and would thus save the Dracula Clan.
Now it turns out three children were born at that specific instant, but the only surviving one is a girl named Manami, who is unaware of her power or of the existence of vampires. Now as mentioned above it is now Manami’s 22nd birthday and her powers are about to manifest!
As teh first episode begains we are hours away from said birthday and Manami is in a café with her friends. A vampire of the Dracula clan enters the café and kills every customer, in an attempt to take Manami with her, but she is soon herself killed by vampires of the Corvin clan, who are also looking for Manami. Manami flees from the café and she is eventually found by a vampire of the Dracula clan named K (Kaho), who takes her with her and introduces her to a world she knew nothing about!
Meanwhile, young men and women are invited to Hotel Requiem for a special coupling party held by Yamada (Shinnosuke Mitsushima), a Corvin vampire who lives in and operates the hotel with his partner Elizabeth Báthory (Megumi Kagurazaka). Yamada declares to the gathered crowd that the world is ending and only the people inside the hotel will be saved…
