Katteni! Kamitaman was created by Shotaro Ishinomori and produced by Toei. It ran for 51 episodes between April 1985 and March 1986. Kamitaman is a god of children from the South Island of Kamita. Having been disqualified as a god, he came to Earth in a ramen bowl and has made himself at home. Kamitaman uses his mysterious powers to transform Shinsuke Nemoto, a boy he met on Earth, into The Nemotoman to solve various problems.
