Batten Robomaru

Batten Robomaru was created by Shotaro Ishinomori and produced by Toei. It ran for 51 episodes between October 1982 and September 1983.

Karinto New Town is a strange utopia where humans and dinosaurs live together. Suddenly, a UFO appears above the town! Robomaru, a robot from Planet Manmaru, is onboard. He crash-lands on Earth after getting lost travelling through space. Unable to return to Planet Manmaru due to his broken UFO, Robomaru ends up staying at the Unno home through a set of unusual circumstances. Calling himself an ally of justice and repeating the motto of “No Violence,” Robomaru uses his incredible powers to resolve a series of strange incidents which occur in Karinto New Town.
