Mary Crosby was born on September 14th 1959, in Los Angeles, California, United States. She is the daughter of legendary entertainers Bing Crosby and Kathryn Grant. She began her acting career in the late 1970s and soon became a popular face on television.
Some of her notable film roles include Final Jeopardy, Confessions of a Married Man, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh as Kanga, Happy Birthday to Me as Virginia Wainwright, and The Ice Pirates as Roscoe. She has also made several guest appearances in popular TV shows such as Fantasy Island, Love Boat, The Fall Guy, Murder She Wrote, The Legend of Zorro, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Beverly Hills 90210, The New Adventures of Superman, Freddy’s Nightmares, Automan, CHiPS, and Starsky and Hutch.
Crosby is best known for her role as Kristin Shepard in the hit TV series Dallas. Her performance as the scheming sister-in-law of J.R. Ewing earned her widespread critical acclaim and she remains one of the most memorable characters in the show’s history because she shot J.R!
