Alex Cord passes away aged 88

It is Cult Faction’s sad duty to report that Alex Cord passed away on Monday at the age of 88 years old at his home in Valley View, Texas. The sad news was announced by Cord’s longtime publicist Linda McAlister. Cord will be best known to Cult Faction readers as Michael Coldsmith-Briggs III aka Archangel, alongside Jan-Michael Vincent and Ernest Borgnine in Airwolf between 1984 and 1986.

Through his long career his also appeared in Armstrong Circle Theatre, Route 66, Night Gallery, The Dead Are Alive!, Mission: Impossible, Genesis II, Police Story, The Quest, Police Woman, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Jungle Warriors, Murder She Wrote, The Law and Harry McGraw, The Dirty Dozen: The Fatal Mission, Simon & Simon, War of the Worlds, Freddy’s Nightmares, Jake and the Fatman, Hologram Man, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, Walker Texas Ranger, High Tide, and Air Rage,
