Cult TV Essentials: Guruguru Medaman

Guruguru Medaman was produced by Toei and ran for 30 episodes between July 1976 and January 1977. In the show Mami Kosaka finds a pendant with 108 crystals, all of which contain the souls of ghosts! Kind-hearted ghost Medaman and his friends come to the Kosaka household to take back the pendant. In order for Medaman to be recognized in the eyes of the spirit that lives in the necklace, he and his friends engage in the world of humans, but if Mami says the incantation inscribed on the pendant, they can’t do anything! Will a day come when they get back all 108 crystals?
