Lady Battle Cop (1990)

Directed by Akihisa Okamoto, Lady Battle Cop finds downtown Tokyo (much like a futuristic Detroit you may have seen in a film whose name escapes me!) at the mercy of a four-man terrorist group known as Team Phantom. Who can save the day?

Luckily for Tokyo, Kaoru Mikoshiba (played by Azusa Nakamura) a former female tennis champion is transformed into an unstoppable cyborg known as Lady Battle Cop.

As if matters could not get worse, Team Phantom obtain a secret weapon from an underground military facility – a man named Amadeus (Masaru Matsuda) – a psychotic murderer with the ability to kill using psychic powers!

Can Lady Battle Cop save the day?
