Ja’net Dubois passes away aged 74

It is Cult Faction’s sad duty to report that singer and actress Ja’net Dubois has passed away at the age of 74 years old. Her family revealed the sad news stating that Ja’net died unexpectedly in her sleep overnight at her home in Glendale, CA.

Ja’net appeared in a number of film and tv shows including I’m Gonna Git You Sucka, Shaft, Kojak, The Love Boat, Hard Time, G.I. Joe: Renegades, Tropic Thunder, and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle but was best known for her portrayal of Willona Woods in Good Times. She also co–wrote and sang the theme song “Movin’ on Up” for The Jeffersons.
