I’m Gonna Git You Sucka (1988)

Written and directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, I’m Gonna Git You Sucka is a Blaxploitation parody that follows the exploits of Soldier Jack Spade (Keenen Ivory Wayans) who has to return hometown of Any Ghetto, U.S.A. from the army following the death of his brother Junebug (Bobby Mardis) from an “OG” – an overdosing on gold chains.

Once back in his old neighbourhood, Spade is shocked and disgusted by the impact gold chains is having on his community and soon wants revenge on the local crime boss or as he is called in the movie “Chain Lord,” Mr, Big (John Vernon) for what happened to his brother.

Spade seeks the help of local hero John Slade (Bernie Casey) in destroying Mr, Big and a team is soon assembled. Along with Slade, Kung Fu Joe (Steve James), Flyguy (Antonio Fargas), Slammer (Jim Brown), and Hammer (Isaac Hayes), Spade sets off to takedown Mr. Big’s empire…
