Cult Cartoon Essentials: Fantadroms

Debuting in 1985 and running for 13 episodes, Fantadroms was a Latvian children’s cartoon by the production company Studio Dauk. It follows the adventures of a yellow shape shifting robot called Indrikis, who prefers the form of a space cat.

Indrikis flies through the universe mediating various disputes between the other characters.

Indrikis often finds himself in a surreal love triangle with Receklite; the flying purple cat-octopus with whom he is in love with, and the rat- who is in love with him.

Throughout his adventures Indrikis also encounters a cow, a human woman, and an amorphous pink blob with shower nozzle hands!
