Howard Lew Lewis passes away at the age of 76

It is Cult Faction’s sad duty to report that actor Howard Lew Lewis passed away at the age of 76 years old on 20th January 2018. The sad news was broken by Lewis’ former co-star Tony Robinson on twitter:

As well as playing Rabies on Maid Marian and her Merry Men for four seasons he was also well known for his role as Elmo the Bartender on Brush Strokes from 1986-1991.

Other roles included Chelmsford 123, Widows, The Black Adder, Minder, Brazil, C.A.T.S. Eyes, Open All Hours, The Two Ronnies, Dramarama, Chaplin, Asterix in America, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, The Bill, The Queen’s Nose, Casualty, and My Family.
