G vs E

G vs E (or as it was later known Good vs. Evil) was a supernatural Pulp Fiction like show that pitted a group of agents who are assigned to “the Corps”, a secret agency under the command of Heaven, against the Morlocks, a group of evildoers from Hell. It ran for two seasons (22 episodes) between 1999 and 2000.

As the series begins we witness the murder of Chandler Smythe (Clayton Rohner) on his 35th birthday. He is then recruited as an agent of the Corps and becomes a partner to Henry McNeil (Richard Brooks). Henry was killed in the 1970’s and still dresses in a MOD Squad/Shaft style (which added to the show’s retro vibe).

The Corps are pretty much God’s police force on Earth and each episode involves them locating someone who has made a Faustian pact with the Devil’s forces. When the Corps find a lost soul, they must decide whether to rehabilitate them or eliminate them from existence if they are beyond redemption.
