Join What’s The Bloody Question? for its second (and still very experimental) episode! What is it you ask? Well it is a new, light-hearted panel quiz show exploring all things horror!
If you didn’t manage to make it to the first outing, here’s a bit of a recap: The show will pit two teams of three horror heros against each other, valiantly led by team captains Chris Nials (founder of The London Horror Society) and Katy Danbury (curator of The London Horror Festival). These two reprobates will be kept firmly in check by Quizmaster Tony Sands (Presenter of UK Horror Scene’s Hanging With…), keeper of the Questionomicon… As well as you, the delightful studio audience, we’ll also be filming this in order to create a 30 minute episode that will be published online. If all goes to plan, this will become a regular web series.
So, what can you expect from this event?
Well, it will be most certainly fun. The teams promise to try and bring you some laughs, but if all else fails you’ll certainly be able to laugh at them.
Also, we’re still firmly in an experimental stage. Proceedings might be a little stop-start in places, as we figure out what works, what doesn’t, how we shoot things and what to do with Tony’s hair.
There also might well be the chance for some audience participation, plus the chance to test your horror knowledge too!
So onto the teams! Joining Katy this time are: Natalie Cartwright and Amy Larcombe, both horror lovers to the core! Natalie is part of the design team at the London Dungeon and Amy is a former Dungeon Scare Actor. Amy starred in ‘All But Us’ – a new play about vampires by J. J. Bayliss – at the LHF last year, which received a 666/666 review from Horror Hothouse. Natalie designed and teched the show. Amy has also appeared in previous Monster Hunter shows by Newgate Productions. Amy is also a member of The Ghostfinders Paranormal Society and investigates supposed haunted locations with the team using lots of different devices and technology to discover what could possibly cause the paranormal activity taking place…
And on team Chris… Chris is delighted to welcome the wonderful Scott Lyus and Nicholas Vince to his team. Scott is one of the most exciting up and coming directorial talents around, having wowed numerous festival audiences around the world with his brilliant short, Silently Within Your Shadow. He’s now putting the finishing touches to his next piece, Echoes Of The Passed. Nicholas needs no introduction. Having starred in Clive Barker’s timeless classic Hellraiser where he played The Chatterer Cenobite, he then went on to play Kinski in another Barker classic – Nightbreed. He now has a fantastic pod/videocast “Chattering with Nicholas Vince”, is the patron of the wonderful London Horror Festival, has starred in more independent horror films than you can imagine, and has just made the step behind the lens with his directorial debut The Night Whispered. Nicholas was also last year’s inaugural winner of The London Horror Society Award, presented for outstanding contribution to British independent horror at the Unrestricted View Horror Festival.
The event takes place on Saturday 18th March 2017, between 13:30 – 16:30 GMT at The Etcetera Theatre, 265 Camden High Street, London, NW1 7BU.
Tickets are £2.71 (including booking fee) and are available HERE.
