Airing on 26th December 1990 came a special Christmas edition of the UK version of the TV quiz show Cluedo. On paper all looked good with a reputable cast:
- Rev. Green: Derek Nimmo (Ghost Squad, A Hard Day’s Night, Casino Royale, One of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing)
- Professor Plum: Ian Lavender (Dad’s Army, Eastenders)
- Mrs. Peacock: Kate O’Mara (Triangle, The Horror of Frankenstein)
- Mrs. White: Joan Simms (Carry On films)
- Miss Scarlett: Toyah Wilcox (Quadrophenia, Teletubbies)
- Richard Forrest: Sean Pertwee (Dog Soldiers, Gotham)
- Ken the Chauffeur: James Clyde (The Honeytrap, Leonardo, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)
Even the celebrity contestants were well known at the time (some still retain fame to this day):
- Tony Scannell (Flash Gordon, The Bill)
- Fiona Spence (Prisoner: Cell Block H, Home and Away)
- Trudie Goodwin (The Bill, Emmerdale)
- Leslie Grantham (Eastenders, The Paradise Club, The Uninvited, Doctor Who)
I can’t even work out what is wrong with it! It had all the pieces in places but just didn’t work. So have a look, judge for yourselves! It definitely deserves its place on the Cult Faction radar, as to why? Like the game itself you have to work it out!
