Snake Eater II: The Drug Buster (1989)

Written by Don Carmody and John Dunning, and directed by George Erschbamer, Snake Eater II: The Drug Buster sees everybody’s favourite Rydell High Renegade Lorenzo Lamas return as Officer Jack “Soldier” Kelly who is shocked and sickened that a number of young teenagers are dying from poison-laced drugs – so much so, that he decides he must declare war on drugs and take down an inner city war drug ring! Aided by his friend Speedboat (Larry B. Scott) and an arsenal of weapons from his marine days Kelly hits the streets to wipe them clean of drugs by any means necessary!

Unfortunately these means result in Kelly being locked up in an insane asylum for a while where he runs into his old foe Torchy (Ron Palillo) from the original Snake Eater movie. Soon though Kelly is back on the streets doing what he does best – blasting drug dealers away all the while being investigated by Detective Lisa Forester (Kathleen Kinmont). Kelly eventually executes his brand of justice, gets away with it because was “insane,” then everyone has a dance! George Buza pops up too!
