My Hero Academia is to get two original anime specials this summer! They will first screen in theatres in Japan from June 16th 2022 to June 19th 2022 before becoming available to stream this summer.
The first special will focus on a group of baseball loving pro heroes form the Hero League Baseball (HLB). This season, the Gang Orca’s Orcas and Shishido’s Lionels are vying for the top, and because they are determined to win, they call upon U.A. students for support. All players are allowed to use their Quicks in the upcoming game.
In the second special “Laugh! Like Hell” a string of graffiti incidences happen across Endeavor’s area during winter vacation by a self-proclaimed artist named Mr. Smiley. Due to his Quirk, he is able to evade capture. The police ask Endeavor’s help but since he considers it a minor offense, and tells the police to deal it themselves. That all changed when his own house got vandalized by Mr. Smiley. It takes place during the Internship at Endeavor’s Agency Arc of the anime’s 5th season.
