The official Kamen Rider website has released the trailer for Revice Legacy: Kamen Rider Vail, a new Kamen Rider Revice spin-off movie. It follows what was revealed in Kamen Rider Revice’s 25th episode – Genta Igarashi, the father of the three Igarashi siblings is Kamen Rider Vail! The spin-off will answer the questions on how he became Kamen Rider Vail, and how he met his wife Yukimi and even how he met George Karizaki!
Taking place 25 years before the birth of the Igarashi siblings, a dying and seriously injured man was brought to the scientific research organization Noah. This man is Junpei Shiranami, who survived thanks to Masumi Karizaki transplanted Giff cells into his heart. He is forced to becoming the strongest demon hunter and is given the Vail Driver. Junpei, whose parents were killed by a red demon becomes Kamen Rider Vail with revenge on his mind continue to fight demons.
Written by veteran Kamen Rider writer Nobuhiro Mouri and directed Koichi Sakamoto (Kamen Rider Fourze), Revice Legacy: Kamen Rider Vail is set to premiere on March 27th 2022 at 10am JST, exclusively on the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club.
