It is Cult Faction’s sad duty to report that Henry Woolf has passed away at the age of 91 years old. Woolf began his acting career in 1961 and he would have roles in Doctor Who, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Incredible Adventures of Professor Branestawm, San Ferry Ann, Marat/Sade, Tell Me Lies, The Lion in Winter, Great Catherine, The Bed Sitting Room, Alfred the Great, The Ruling Class, The Love Pill, Galileo, Rogue Male, The Hound of the Baskervilles, Gorky Park, Superman III, Maid to Order, and The Rutles: All You Need Is Cash.
He married fellow actor Susan Williamson in 1965 and later in his career chose chose to help aspiring actors improve their craft, instead of continuing with his movie career. He taught acting at the University of Saskatchewan, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and lived there with his wife Susan and his children. He rarely spoke of his movie career, but every so often will blurt out a story or two, always amusing his students. If he is pestered enough he would even mention some of the big names he has worked with and his (sometimes colourful) opinions of them. Henry ran the Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan festival every year with great success until 2001.
