The Legend of the Lone Ranger (1981)

Featuring action-packed direction from multiple-Oscar-nominated William A. Fraker and a rousing score from the legendary John Barry, The Legend of the Lone Ranger is the ultimate story of the quintessential Western hero, played here by Klinton Spilsbury, – and his faithful Native American companion, Tonto (Michael Horse) – who ride against evil in this action-packed Western!

Texas Ranger John Reid is the sole survivor of an ambush arranged by outlaw leader Butch Cavendish (Christopher Lloyd) and his gang. He is rescued by his childhood Comanche friend, Tonto, and when he recovers from his wounds he dedicates his life to fighting the evil that Cavendish represents. Donning a mask, he saddles up his horse Silver and becomes “The Lone Ranger” – the greatest western hero of them all!
