Gator Bait (1974)

Written, produced, and directed by Beverly Sebastian and Ferd Sebastian, Gator Bate (aka Swamp Bait in the UK) follows the exploits of a barefoot poacher called Desiree Thibodeau (Claudia Jennings) who lives deep in the swampland.

Unfortunately for Desiree, she is caught trapping alligators by Ben Bracken (Ben Sebastion) and Deputy Billy Boy (Clyde Ventura) who chase her and try to convince her to engage in sexual acts with them so that they will not report her. Luckily Desiree quickly escapes but during the chase Deputy Billy Boy accidentally shoots Ben, and then runs off.

Deputy Billy Boy returns to the Police station and tells his father, Sheriff Joe Bob Thomas (Bill Thurman), that it was Desiree who killed Ben. Soon a mob is formed wanting justice led by Sheriff Thomas and his son. they go and search the swamps looking for Desiree and attack her family.

Desiree is angered by this and seeks revenge!
