Stan Kirsch passes away aged 51

It is Cult Faction’s sad duty to announce that Stan Kirsch passed away on Saturday, January 11th 2020 at the age of 51 years old.

According to reports released by TMZ, Kirsch’s wife, Kristyn Green, found the actor in their Los Angeles home’s bathroom, and although paramedics reported to the scene, he was immediately pronounced dead. The cause of death was recorded as suicide by hanging.

Green, who wed Kirsch in 2009, confirmed the news of her husband’s death via Facebook. “I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support, I haven’t been able to respond to all the texts, calls, emails — but have read or listened to every single one of them. I feel surrounded by love and am forever grateful to each and every one of you.”

Kirsch was probably most well known for his role as Richard H. ‘Richie’ Ryan in Highlander: The TV Series between 1992-1998. He also played Ethan in Friends as well as appearing in Riders in the Sky, True Colours, Love Boat: The Next Wave, JAG, Shallow Ground, and Invincible.
