Zomboat! Episode 4

In Zomboat! Episode 4 we discover that even a shopping trip can be hazardous to your health in post-apocalyptic Birmingham.

With the boat moored and apparently safe Amar (Ryan McKen) and Jo (Cara Theobold) decide that food and supplies are a priority and head to the supermarket where Jo used to work. Kat (Leah Brotherhead) and Sunny (Hamza Jeetooa) stay behind to secure the boat.

Upon arriving at the supermarket Amar and Jo meet Chloe (Amy Booth-Steel). Chloe used to work with Jo and came second to her in a till scanning competition in which Jo won an exotic holiday. Chole idolises Jo and follows her keenly on instagram whilst Jo just about remembers who Chloe is.

Meanwhile Kat and Sunny discover the lock is draining and the boat is in danger. Kat runs to the supermarket to warn the others whilst Sunny stays as he is scared of the dark!

Soon the supermarket begins to have problems of its own and Jo past treatment of Chloe make come back to haunt her!

Verdict: 7/10 Another strong entry into the Zomboat! cannon. The introduction of Amy Booth-Steel’s Chloe adds another dynamic to the series – now our crew not only have the Zombie threat but also a psychotic jealous ex-workmate may also be lurking around any corner! I feel used sparingly to begin with, she could become the biggest threat to our heroes as the series progresses. Zomboat! has found its Governor!
