Spider-Man back in MCU for one more movie!

Variety got the scoop that the war between Sony and Walt Disney Pictures is over! A released joint statement stating that Kevin Feige will produce the follow up to Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home alongside Sony’s Amy Pascal has been released. This third Spider-Man film is set for a July 16th 2021 release, making it part of the MCU Phase 4 release slate. As part of the deal Spider-Man will also appear in yet another future MCU film!
Feige stated “I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it, Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold.”
