Zebraman 2: Attack on Zebra City (2010)

Arriving in 2010, Zebraman 2: Attack on Zebra City was the sequel for 2004’s Zebraman, and starred Show Aikawa once again as Shinichi Ichikawa/Zebraman.

As the film opens it is revealed that fifteen years have passed since the events of Zebraman and the year is now 2025 and Tokyo has been renamed Zebra City and is overseen by Zebra Queen. She has introduced “Zebra Time” which begins at 5:00 AM/PM for 5 minutes (in which all crime is legal). The government also allows the Zebra Police to attack any suspected criminals.

One incident of Zebra Time results in a murder attempt against Ichikawa. This attack results in memory loss for Ichikawa and leaves him having to team up with television’s fake Zebraman and a young protégé to save a mysterious little girl from Zebra Queen and her Zebra Police, and then the world from Zebra Queen’s ultimate plan to use the strange aliens from 2010 to bring Zebra Time to the whole world! Will he regain his memories in time?
