Pamela Hensley

Pamela Gail Hensley was born on October 3rd 1950 in Glendale, California, USA. She went onto study at Argyle Academy and later successfully auditioned for the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London where she went to study for three years.

Universal soon came knocking and signed Hensley to a seven-year contract. Her debut came in 1970 when she played Edna in There Was a Crooked Man. Further roles came in Griff, Banacek, Emergency!, Kojak, Adam-12, McMillan & Wife, Ironside, The Rockford Files, and The Law. 

In 1975 was a big year for Hensley; she played Mackie –  James Caan’s lover in Rollerball and Mona in Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze.

Further roles followed in Marcus Welby, M.D., Kingston: Confidential, The Six Million Dollar Man, Switch, and B.J. and the Bear.

Then in 1979 came Buck Rogers in the 25th Century where Hensley’s role as Princess Ardala set pulses racing across the galaxy!

Further roles across TV staples such as The Love Boat and Fantasy Island before she landed the role of C.J. Parsons in the hit series Matt Houston, which ran from 1982-1985.

Following Matt Houston, Hensley retired from acting. In 2004 she released The Jewish-Sicilian Cookbook but has yet to return to our screens.
