It has been announced that Catherine Zeta-Jones will star in a Lifetime movie based of the life of female drug overlord “The Black Widow” Griselda Blanco.
Cocaine Godmother is set to hit screens in 2018 and will detail how Blanco made her way to the U.S. with a fake passport at age 17 with her first husband, lived in Queens, New York with her three sons, and became linked with local drug runners and soon masterminded the use of beautiful women, the elderly and children as drug mules and created false-bottom suitcases to smuggle cocaine from Colombia.
In the wake of her newfound wealth, her sons abandoned school and entered the family business instead. She then moved to Miami to expand her empire.
