Dead Man’s Shoes (2004)
Dead Man’s Shoes is a British psychological thriller film written and directed by Shane Meadows, and co-written by Paddy Considine, who also starred in the lead role. The film co-stars Toby Kebbell, Gary Stretch and Stuart Wolfenden.
The story details the return of Richard (Paddy Considine) to his home town of Matlock, Derbyshire in the Peak District, England, after serving in the British army. Richard and his younger, mentally-impaired brother Anthony (Toby Kebbell), camp at an abandoned farm near the town. Flashbacks reveal Anthony’s abuse by a group of drug dealers in the town; Richard vows to take revenge!
