The Spiritual Boxer (1975)

The Spiritual Boxer (1975) was the first Shaw Brothers movie from director Liu Chia-liang and is considerd by many to be the film that set him on a the path to becoming one of the greatest ever in Hong Kong cinema.

Wang Yu plays the title role, a self-proclaimed mystic whose mastery of ‘spiritual boxing’ allows him to see into the future! This turns out to to be a con though and he fails to convince a local village. His con act lands him into trouble with local bandits but whilst his seeing into the future might be fake, his martial arts skills are not!
