Marc Singer to join Arrow!

V and Beastmaster star Marc Singer has joined the cast of Arrow as General Matthew Shrieve.

In the DC comics universe, Shrieve is the human leader of the “Creature Commandos,” a military unit consisting of Frankenstein’s monster, a werewolf, a vampire, and a gorgon.

The official character listing for Shrieve reads as follows:

“In the DC Comics, Matthew Shrieve is the leader of a group known as the Creature Commandos. In ‘Arrow’ he will play a significant role in the latter portion of the season’s flashback storyline.”

Singer will make his debut in the 14th episode of the series’ third season which will be a recurring role.
