Set in a post-pandemic world, THE PAY DAY follows a broke and frustrated IT technician (Kyla Frye) who is charged by a crime boss (Simon Callow) to embark on a one-woman heist to steal valuable data worth millions on the black market.
As if the dangerous pitfalls of her mission weren’t enough, the sting gets more complicated when a charming con artist (Sam Benjamin) interrupts her mission attempting to swipe the loot for himself.
The film, equal parts topical and thrilling, was penned by Frye and Benjamin and produced by Praxima and Fryeday Entertainment
Ellen Thomas, Vincent Jerome, Marcus Onilude, Rae Lim, Farrel Jo Hegarty, Miles Mitchell, Kara-Dee Rai, Jacob Anderton, Rob Shannon, Frankie Clarence, Dominic Ryan, Victoria Evaristo and Nadine Mills round out the cast of the film, which will be released in the U.S on Demand November 11, in Select Theaters November 14, and in the UK December 5th 2022 on digital platforms by Vertical Entertainment.
