Into the Black Abyss: Deathstream follows Zach a 28 Year old online Gamer who makes a living streaming his game play videos online. One night during a live stream a group of masked individuals break into his home, and soon he finds himself fighting for survival, and all anyone can do is watch. We then eneter a journey of found footage with POV horror in a blood soaked, Home Invasion gut punch of a fight for survival!

Despite lockdowns and the pandemic looming, production went ahead in early 2021 and carried on throughout 2022 breaking for the summer and autumn. Due to scheduling commitments filming had to be done over weekends and in total filming was complete after 16 long night of shooting.
Post production ran in tandem with main production, allowing director Daniel Mark Young to edit sections of the movie before filming was complete.
Filming wrapped on 28th September 2022, exactly two whole years after shooting the concept trailer.
On Tuesday 11th October 2022 the film was released to Backers of the project with extra features including Behind the scenes footage and more.
In total the film cost roughly £2900 to shoot which is twice the budget of Viral Films last short film “For Her…” (2017). Currently the film is planned for a festival run and a launch on Amazon Video on October 25th 2022.
