Variety have revealed that Netflix CEO and chief content officer Ted Sarandos has confirmed that Squid Game will be getting a Season 2. In fact he stated that “the ‘Squid Game’ universe has just begun!”
Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk had stated previously that the hit series would be returning for a Season 2 but now it looks like Netflix may be interested in expanding it further – perhaps we will see prequels? Perhaps the same story from different perspectives? There is a lot to play with!
