Leachman ahd a long legendary career on the big and small screen most recently seen in Mad About You, The Croods: A New Age, American Gods, Justice League Action Shorts, Creative Galaxy, Bob’s Burgers, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, Girl Meets World, Hawaii Five-0, and Phineas and Ferb but here career is much deeper than that.
“I was busy everyday on live television back in the 1940s and 1950s in New York. I was starring in one thing after another every week. Then at night I’d be on Broadway. What a wonderful education all of that was. What a wonderful, exciting, learning adventure. It’s stood me in good stead all of these years, I think.”
Debuting in a 1947 episode of Carnegie Hall, she would go on to appear in a number of shows including playing Queen Hippolyta in Wonder Woman, Charlie Wild Private Detective, Danger, Kiss Me Deadly, Lassie, Rawhide, The Man in the Moon, Boris Karloff Presents, Outlaws, Gunsmoke, The Twilight Zone, The Untochables, Wagon Train, The New Breed, The Defenders, Perry Mason, Adam-12, Ironside, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Night Gallery, Rhoda, Phyllis, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Muppet Movie, History of the World: Part I, The Love Boat, My Little Pony: The Movie, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, Inglorious Bastards, Norm, Diagnosis Murder, The Twilight Zone,Touched By An Angel, Bad Santa, Sky High, Scarey Movie 4, Malcolm in the Middle, Ponyo, The Croods, and as Maw Maw aka Norma June in Raising Hope.
