Sam Lloyd passes away aged 56
It is Cult Faction’s sad duty to report that Sam Lloyd aka Ted from Scrubs has passed away at the age of 56 years old. Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence confirmed the news on Twitter today: “Thinking a lot about Sam Lloyd today. (Ted). Truly such a kind, sweet guy. He will be missed by so many.” Lloyd was sadly diagnosed with inoperable cancer in January 2019, just weeks he and his wife Vanessa had welcomed their first child, Weston.
As well as Scrubs, Sam appeared in Desperate Housewives, Night Court, Seinfeld, Flubber, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place, Galaxy Quest, NYPD Blue, Spin City, The West Wing, Malcolm in the Middle, Cougar Town, Bones, Shameless, Dr. Ken, Modern family, and American Housewife.
