On New Year’s Day, Shout! Factory TV presents a festive stream of Gerry Anderson’s 1983 series, Terrahawks. The marathon stream presents all 39 episodes with special segments providing an insider’s look at the series. Fans can tune in at the stroke of midnight (PT) and watch all the episodes back-to-back to ring in the new year.
In this dystopian world set in 2020, the Terrahawks are tasked with protecting a group of extraterrestrial androids and aliens from invading the Earth. It’s the Terrahawks marathon to show you what the world could have been in this version of 2020.
Terrahawks’ legacy lives on in that it was Gerry Anderson’s final last show to use puppets for its characters. In theme with Anderson’s other puppet series, futuristic technology features prominently in Terrahawks.
The Terrahawks marathon begins Wednesday, January 1 at 12 a.m. PT and continues through New Year’s Day. The stream can be viewed on http://www.ShoutFactoryTV.com along with Shout! Factory TV’s Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, and Android apps; and the following digital streaming platforms: Twitch, Samsung TV Plus, Xumo, and STIRR.
