Los Espookys Ep. 1: El Exorcismo

Los Espookys Ep. 1: El Exorcismo follows a group of friends who turn their love for horror into a peculiar business, providing horror to those who need it, in a dreamy Latin American country where the strange and eerie are just part of daily life – it is basically Scooby-Doo in reverse!

Now the subtitles will be the big issue for most people, I’m not even sure how accurate they are as I feel a lot is getting lost in translation but once you do you will find a deadpan comedy series that is not afraid to tread on surreal ground including an other- worldly lady who knows the secret of Andres unknown past. The price for such vital information? She wants to watch The King’s Speech!

Verdict: 7/10 This show offers something different in a crowded TV market. if you can get over the subtitles you will be in for a treat. I just hope they can build on what they have built here and not be held back on their ideas.
