Mike Noble passes away aged 88

It is Cult Faction’s sad duty to report that legendary artist Mike Noble has passed away at the age of 88 years old. Noble is best known for his work in comics which included Lone Ranger and Tonto, and Range Rider. Then he found a whole new audience in 1965 when he starting working for TV Century 21 where he illustrated Fireball XL5, Zero-X, Project SWORD, Star Trek and Captain Scarlet.

Later he moved across to Look In where he illustrated Timeslip, Freewheelers, Follyfoot, The Adventures of Black Beauty, Kung Fu, Space: 1999, The Tomorrow People, The Man From Atlantis, Star Fleet, Worzel Gummidge, and Robin of Sherwood.
