Celeste Yarnall passes away at the age of 74

It is Cult Faction’s sad duty to report that Celeste Yarnall has passed away at the age of 74 years on Sunday at her home in Westlake Village, California. Yarnall was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in November 2014 and had turned to a crowdsourcing to help pay her medical expenses. The sad news was broken by her husband Nazim Artist who commented: “She was magnificent in everything she did, she was my beloved queen.”

Yarnall is best remembered as Yeoman Martha Landon is the Star Trek: the Original Series episode “The Apple;” she also appeared in Burke’s Law, The Wild Wild West, Bewitched, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Bonanza, Hogan’s Heroes, Land of the Giants, Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, Columbo, The Mechanic, Beast of Blood, The Velvet Vampire, and Melrose Place.
