Bella Emberg passes away aged 80

It is Cult Faction’s sad duty to report that comedian Bella Emberg has passed away at the age of 80 years old. The news was broken by her agent.

Emberg found fame appeared in a host of iconic television shows including Grange Hill, Doctor Who, Z-Cars, the Benny Hill Show, Doomwatch, Callan, Man About the House, George & Mildred, The Tomorrow People, Sammy’s Super T-Shirt, History of the World: Part I, Casualty 1906, and was due to appear in the upcoming show In the Long Run.

Emberg will be most remembered for her spoof superhero character in a comedic partnership with Russ Abbot as “Cooperman & Blunderwoman”.
