With season 2 of Stranger Things on the horizon, Matt and Ross Duffer the brothers behind the awesome show have stated (via Vulture) that they are thinking the show “will be a four-season thing and then out.”
Matt Duffer stated: “I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year!” Ross Duffer added: “They’re going to have to get the f**k out of this town! It’s ridiculous!”
Whilst the show ending will be disappointing it is nice to know it will not be forced beyond its parameters like many other shows have been. In the new season, which drops on Netflix on October 27th 2017, “It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”
