Marvel Entertainment and ABC have officially released the synopsis for the upcoming Marvel’s Inhumans:
“After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.”
The cast for the series includes:
- Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) as Black Bolt
- Serinda Swan (Ballers, Graceland) as Queen Medusa
- Ken Leung (Lost) as Karnak,
- Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones) as Maximus
- Eme Ikwuakor (Concussion, Extant) as Gorgon
- Mike Moh (Empire, Street Fighter: Assasin’s Fist) as Triton
- Sonya Balmores (Beyond the Break, Soul Surfer) as Auran
- Isabelle Cornish (Australia Day, Puberty Blues) as Crystal
- Ellen Woglom (Californication, Outlaw)
Marvel’s Inhumans is executive produced by Scott Buck (Dexter, Marvel’s Iron Fist) along with Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage) and Jim Chory (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage), with Buck serving as showrunner. Roel Reine (Admiral, Black Sails) will direct the first two episodes. The series is co-produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios.
Marvel’s Inhumans will debut its first two episodes in IMAX on Friday, September 1st 2017, followed by the full eight-episode series on ABC this fall.
