Cult Movie Essentials: The Greasy Strangler (2016)

Bizarre, freaky, intriguing…The Greasy Strangler hit 2016 round the head hard and left it wondering what had just happened. Like a really, really, really f*cked up Steptoe & Son mixed with Napoleon Dynamite, this American black comedy horror film written by Jim Hosking and Toby Harvard and directed by Jim Hosking just warps your mind and wiggles deep within it!

It stars Michael St. Michaels, Sky Elobar, Elizabeth De Razzo, Gil Gex, Abdoulaye NGom, and Holland MacFallister:

The Los Angeles-set tale follows Ronnie (St. Michaels), a man who runs a “Disco Walking tour” along with his browbeaten son, Brayden (Elobar).

One day a woman called Janet (De Razzo) goes on the tour who Brayden finds sexy, and they soon become attracted to each other. It begins a competition between father and son for her attention. It also signals the appearance of an oily, slimy inhuman maniac who stalks the streets at night and strangles the innocent, soon dubbed ‘The Greasy Strangler!’
