It is Cult Faction’s sad duty to report that Robert Vaughn passed away today at the age of 83 years old after battling acute leukemia. The father-of-two is survived by wife Linda, son Cassidy and daughter Caitlin.
Vaughn was best known for his role as Napoleon Solo in The Man From U.N.C.L.E., died surrounded by his family, his manager said today. He also appeared in The Ten Commandments, Gunsmoke!, Dragnet, Mike Hammer, Zorro, The Magnificent Seven, Bonanza, The Lieutenant, The Protectors, The Towering Inferno, Columbo, Superman III, The A-Team, Hunter, C.H.U.D. II – Bud the Chud, Murder, She Wrote, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, Escape to Witch Mountain, and Hustle.
