Hasbro Studios and Lionsgate have confirmed that My Little Pony: The Movie will hit theaters on November 3rd 2017.
Kristin Chenoweth (The Peanuts Movie) will provide the voice for a character that will star alongside the voices of Tara Strong, Cathy Weseluck, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain and Ashleigh Ball.
Jayson Theissen is directing the film from a screenplay by Meghan McCarthy, writer and producer for the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic animated series, which debuted earlier this year on the Discovery Family TV channel.
The story will focus on Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Raritye embarking on a journey to save their home.
Stephen Davis and Brian Goldner will produce My Little Pony: The Movie for Hasbro’s Allspark Pictures.
