Warner Bros to make English language adaption of Death Note
In the “lets hold our breath and hope it doesn’t suck file” come a new entry from Warner Bros as Variety is reporting that Nat Wolff (The Fault In Out Stars, Paper Towns) has signed on to star in Warner Bros. English-language adaptation of Death Note. Originally written by Tsugumi Ohbaand and illustrated by Takeshi Obata this translation will see Wolff play “a student [Light Yagami] who discovers a supernatural notebook that allows him to kill anyone simply by writing the victim’s name.

Now Death Note has a lot more to it than that and if you haven’t watched it your really should. I recommend the Anime version as my personal favorite. You can read all about it by clicking on the link a few lines up.
Early predictions from Cult Faction suggest the entire point may be missed.
Can’t be as bad as the Japaneses live action movies.
” adaptation of Death Note” ^_o interesting.
Hmm.. I was already (a bit) disappointed with the Death Note live action series. But, let’s see if this adaptation will give justice to the story 🙂
Agreed
Huh. . .We’ll see. I don’t have any high expectations.
