We all want SONY to just give Spiderman back but we know they wont. The Amazing Spiderman wasn’t a bad start but they followed it up with the biggest clusterf**k since Spiderman 3. Too many people, too little time and they had no real ending to the film!
SONY are desperate to make Spiderman work – they are looking at Marvel and are just copying the blueprint badly… well it is more a third generation photocopy than a blueprint. It seems they have cancelled their plans on the Venom movie due to how badly The Amazing Spiderman 2 was received and reports are flooding in that they are scraping together all the threads of their supposed big movie The Sinister Six in an attempt to work it as a soft reboot for your friendly neighbourhood wall crawler.
The problem is nobody cares now!
Now reports from the usually reliable Latino Review suggest SONY are attempting to release an Aunt May movie! That’s right… AUNT MAY! Last played by the Flying Nun herself – Sally Fields. Now I have nothing against Sally Fields but we beg her to leave this steaming turd alone! According to Latino Review, the Aunt May spinoff will take place when she was younger. Instead, she’ll be a young spy…couch…cough… Agent Carter?
SONY it is the new millennium – take out a loan and buy yourself a clue!
It would be nice if SONY could give Spiderman back just in time for Captain America 3: Civil War but we know that is not going to happen, instead they SONY will keep kicking the golden spider goose until it may lay a golden egg again! Knowing SONY though, they will just step on the egg once it was laid.
Perhaps the golden spider goose could fly of with the nun?
